Important Information Regarding the Edinburgh Visitor Levy

Please be advised that in accordance with new legislation from the Edinburgh City Council, a 5% Visitor Levy (Tourist Tax) will be applied to all overnight stays arriving on or after July 24, 2026. This levy is calculated based on the room rate for the first five consecutive nights of your stay and will be collected upon your arrival at the Inn. These funds are reinvested by the city into local infrastructure and the preservation of Edinburgh’s world-class culture and heritage, ensuring the village and city remain vibrant for years to come.
