Fantastic Family Friendly Place
Fantastic family friendly place. The staff were great highly knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble.
A must have is the massive knickerbocker Glory for the family to share. Just make sure you get a bigger spoon than everyone else at the table.

10 out of 10 in every aspect. The food menu is varied and has something for everyone. the bar is full of cracking draught beers, and it looks modern and unique. The actual look of the place is incredible, comfortable and welcoming. Staff were polite and helpful, and we honestly couldn’t say a bad thing about our visit. If you haven’t yet been, make sure The Balerno Inn is your next day or night out. A gem of a place.

Had lunch Sat 29th August with friends, great food, service was impeccable. Would like to mention Lilly and Paul who were both attentive and made us feel comfortable, they clearly love their jobs, both an asset to the Balerno Inn

What an amazing experience we have just had at the Balerno Inn. Amazing food, fantastic service and best of all a surprise visit from Santa himself on Christmas Eve, what more could you ask for! Such a festive atmosphere, can’t wait to go back!

Lovely lunch here yesterday! Attentive, friendly people serving, and the food was excellent. They’ve managed to create a relaxing vibe, given the restrictions, so they’re hardly noticeable. Liking the menu copy too. Will definitely be back! 5*
